Rock labyrinth at Leupoldishain

Rock labyrinth near the village of Bielatal in the Saxon part of the Elbe Sandstones. Suitable for a trip with children, the route leads through the rocks and is less than 2 km long. The labyrinth was probably created by the cracking of a sandstone slab into several parts and the corridors between the “fragments” form a labyrinth. Even one separate tower has separated from the slab, which can be climbed – the Labyrinthwächter. After visiting the labyrinth, it is also worth climbing the nearby Bernhardstein hill (425 m above sea level), from where there is a nice view of the mesas of Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland.
