Wild Gorge opened on April 1

Boating on the river Kamenice in Hřensko starts its operation. The first boat sails in Wild Gorge on April 1 and they’ll be driving daily from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. until 1 November . Admission remains the same as last season: 200 CZK adults, 100 CZK children (3-15 years) and 50 CZK dog. Payment is possible only in cash at the ferryman.

Edmund’s Gorge is closed for the time being, but intensive work is being done to reopen it. The latest information about its opening can be found on the official website of the municipality of Hřensko. HERE.

Tropical addition to the Paradise Islands Exposition

In the Exposition of Paradise Islands of the Zoological Garden in Děčín a trial breeding of tropical butterflies has started! Visitors can see more than five species of multicoloured butterflies from New Guinea and South America. The exhibition will offer the opportunity to walk among live exotic butterflies, observe their fascinating life cycle and admire the beautiful drawings of their wings at close range.
