Kuhstall

The Kuhstall (Kravín) rock gate is the second largest natural rock gate in Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland. It is 11 m high, 17 m wide and 24 m deep. It got its name during the Thirty Years’ War, when farmers from the surrounding villages hid here with their livestock. The gate is a popular tourist destination with beautiful views of the Affensteine ​​rocks, Malý Winterberg. There are also steps leading from here to the top of the rock with the remains of the Wildenstein castle. There is also a historic self-service inn.
