In the footsteps of the Tour de Zeleňák

Follow the route of a race whose history dates back to 1984.

The Tour de Zeleňák is always held on the first Saturday in September, but you can ride the route at any time.

Rumburk – Jiříkov – Šluknov – Lobendava – Dolní Poustevna – Brtníky – Staré Křečany – Rumburk

Starting from the Rumburk Information Centre, cross 2. polské armády Street and join Jiříkovská Street, which turns into Rumburkská about halfway between Rumburk and Jiříkov.

After Jiříkovské náměstí, turn left onto the cycle route No. 3043, which you will leave shortly after the Nový Jiříkov lookout point. Continue along the road to the Kingdom, where it is worth dismounting and walking the Way of the Cross.

Then get back on the road and follow it all the way to Šluknov, the route will take you to the pearl of the Saxon Renaissance, Šluknov Castle.

From Šluknov Square, take Dr. Edvard Beneš Street, which will lead you towards Lipová. The castle is being reconstructed and if you are lucky you may be able to see it.

Just before Lobendava, stop at the Garden of Gethsemane below Anenské vrch (Anenské vrch) and in Lobendava, rejoin No. 3043 towards Dolní Poustevna. After the town office, turn onto Vilémovská Street.

In Vilémov, take a look at the historic viaduct and connect to No. 3014 towards Mikulášovice.

Before climbing to Horní Mikulášovice, make a cooling stop at the Mikulášovice swimming pool. In Brtnice, take exit 3014 before Křížový vrch and return to Rumburk via Staré Křečany.
