From Doubice to the beauties of Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland
The circular trip starts in the picturesque village of Doubice.
The route leads first to Kyjov, where it is possible to swim in the local dam in summer.
Doubice – Kyjov – Zadní Doubice – Hinterhermsdorf – Zadní Jetřichovice – Uhlířův domek – Louka na Tokáni – Doubice
From here, continue through the beautiful landscape of the Kyjov Valley. You can stop by the local bear, which is one of the elements of the new Through All the Senses nature trail.
Along the river Křinice, you can comfortably bike to the state border in just a few kilometers, and from Hraniční most, continue on to Saxon Switzerland. After about 3 km, you will reach Hinterhermsdorf, where you can stop for a refreshment.
Then it is time to head back to Křinice, and back to Bohemia.
Cross the border in Zadní Jetřichovice and ride back Bohemian Switzerland, and along the Czech road, you can reach Uhlířův domek, a replica of the house from the famous Czech fairy tale The Proud Princess, which was filmed here.
Cycle route No. 3029 then leads to the crossroads Louka na Tokáni, from where it is only about 5 km along cycle route No. 3076 back to Doubice.
