Along the River Mandava to Großschönau
Cycling along the Mandava River starts in the village of Brtníky, in the tourist season you can reach it thanks to a special tourist line T2, called the cycle-train of Bohemian Switzerland.
From Brtníky go to the spring of Mandava, located between the villages of Brtníky, Panský and Nové Křečany.
Brtníky – Staré Křečany – Rumburk – Seifhennersdorf – Varnsdorf – Großschönau
There is also a nice resting place with a sitting area and a well by the spring, with a very nice view of the landscape. After you have had a rest, head further along Mandava to Staré Křečany, where you can visit a remarkable Way of the Cross.
From Staré Křečany, continue to Rumburk.

The town was formerly known as the Little Paris of the North and offers many places of tourist interest, in particular the Loreto. The Baroque sacral monument is open all year round, you can get a guided tour, or visit interesting cultural events.
Enjoy some refreshment in Rumburk, for example at the Bohemian Coffee House café and coffee roasters, or next door to Tančírna BalaHala.
From Rumburk, the route continues along the Mandava River to the German town of Seifhennersdorf, where you will find the interesting Karasek Museum.
After that, the flow of Mandava and the route of the trip returns to Bohemia and heads to Varnsdorf, where you can make your cycling trip more interesting, for example, at the regional brewery Kocour or run (or pedal) to Lookout Hrádek (Burgsberg).
The Mandava River and the cycling route continue from Varnsdorf to Germany, this route ends in Großschönau, Germany, but it is possible to go as far as Zittau.
