Vlčí Hora
A village situated at the foot of the hill of the same name (581 m), on whose summit stands a lookout tower from the late 19th century. The village was founded in 1589 during the colonization of the border regions. Today, the village serves primarily as a recreational destination.
Points of Interest
The village is home to the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, built in 1870 and featuring Classicist furnishings, as well as a memorial to the victims of World War I. Archaeological excavations near Vlčí Hora have confirmed the existence of a medieval forest glassworks.
Vlčí Hora is also the headquarters of the well-known and popular natural cosmetics company Nobilis Tilia.
