Bags for package-free shopping

CZECH BAGS, Mirka Králíková

The textile workshop České sáčky, based in Děčín, has more than 10 years of tradition. It sews bags from natural Czech linen and cotton. Bags for pastries, for organic food shopping, fruit, vegetables, but also for souvenirs and other products from the region.

The workshop is small, but the products exude joy and enthusiasm for the cause. We work with passion in the workshop and when there are more orders, we give work to people from the region. Most of our helpers are women over 50+ and people with health limitations. They are amazing and we are happy to be able to support them.

Our products have an impact on people’s ecological mindset. We want people to realize the importance of using (not only) reusable bags. And to surround themselves with things that have meaning and support local producers and creators.

The bags are also marked with the label Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland – regional product and we would like to offer these natural bags to other holders of the regional brand, souvenir information centers and other interested parties in order to support people’s solidarity with the local economy.
