Not only about the National Park with Zbyněk Linhart

Mayors come and go, conditions in towns and villages change, and sometimes the movement of this clock is so fast and rapid that you don’t even notice some of the figures.

The situation in Krásná Lípa is quite exceptional from this point of view, where two names have been operating steadily for several years now, and if you walk through this town, you can see that things are not happening randomly here, but that they have a certain order, continuity, and that there is a plan somewhere in the background, which is not quite common in our conditions.

The two names are Zbyněk Linhart and Jan Kolář. The latter has been mayor for the last twelve years, Zbyněk Linhart served in that position from the 1990s before he turned his candidacy into a senatorial bid, and will be a senator until at least this fall, when the next election is held.

This was not the only reason why we came together for the following conversation, where we tried, at least by flying around the world, to discuss the possibilities for communities at the end of the world to offer perspective to local residents, as well as to tourists and visitors from home and abroad who would like to crown the often extraordinary experience of visiting local natural and landscape landmarks with a pleasant stay and a kind treatment in places that are meant to be relaxed. And of course, we could not leave out the nearby foreign countries, i.e. Saxony and that part of Central European, i.e. Czech-Saxon Switzerland.

We have also touched upon the problems brought by the proximity of the national park and the functioning of its de facto service organization, i.e. the Czech Switzerland o. p. s.
