The 2026 Tour de Feminin is now history. The largest international women’s stage cycling race held in the Czech Republic has completed its 37th edition. On the 14th – 17. In May, 166 female cyclists from 24 countries and 29 teams competed in the race around Krásná Lípa. The four stages covered a total of 345.5 kilometers.

The winner was Giana Caluori of Switzerland, riding for Team Nexetis. The highest-ranked rider in the UCI rankings laid the groundwork for her eventual victory right in the opening stage, when she and her Nexetis team took second place in the team time trial. Just one day later, she launched a 50-kilometer breakaway and won the stage with ease. She donned the yellow jersey and didn’t let anyone else take it from her.

“We wanted to bring the yellow jersey all the way to the finish line, and we succeeded. In the last two stages, we were able to manage my lead in the overall standings. We stuck to the plan, and it worked out. “Thank you to the whole team,” said the 23-year-old rider, the first Swiss winner of the Tour since Sandra Wampfler in 2001. Silver went to Belgian Tess Moerman, and bronze to Slovakian hopeful Sofia Ungerová.

The top Czech rider was Kristýna Zemanová of the VIF Cycling team, who finished 10th and was still in contention for the best climber’s jersey going into the final stage. Eliška Kvasničková, from the same team, secured the best Czech finish in the stage. In the final stage, she fought long and hard for the stage win in a three-rider breakaway, but she also took second place. “It’s a sport, but this is absolutely amazing. We worked together in the breakaway and kept the pace. Since the peloton wasn’t catching us, we’re glad we managed to hold on until the end,” said the third-place finisher in the 2023 overall standings, reflecting on the successful stage.

Kate Courtney of Team USA, the winner of the final stage, also drew a lot of attention in Krásná Lípa. The mountain biking star—a world champion, World Cup winner, and winner of the Cape Epic race in South Africa. “It was an amazing day. It’s my first victory in my first road race,” laughed the 30-year-old cyclist, who can also boast of having starred alongside Tom Cruise in a promotional clip for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. “It was an amazing feeling to stand alongside such a star; I really enjoyed it,” she recalled of the filming.

The best climber’s jersey went to Denmark’s Olympia Norrid-Mortensen. Tess Moerman won the points classification, and Poland’s Malwina Mul was named best female rider under 23. The Swiss team Nexetis was named the best team of the competition.
