The Rysí Stezka Forest Adventure Park in Mezní Louka

The Rysí stezka Forest Adventure Park is located in Mezní Louka. Twenty interactive stations introduce park visitors to the challenges of managing the local forests, their biodiversity, and their historical development.

Along the approximately 1.5-kilometer-long trail, visitors will find, among other things, a forest gazebo made from four types of wood typical of the national park, a wooden walkway over a pond, a rope bridge in a beech sapling grove, a sensory trail, a model of a tree hollow, a model of a log-splitting site, a bark beetle climbing frame, a wooden walkway with animal tracks, bird silhouettes, and a tree dendrophone.

The main attraction of the nearby playground is a walk-through wooden model of Pravčická brána, the symbol of Bohemian Switzerland, which children can also use as a slide or climbing frame. The 4-meter-tall wooden model of Pravčická Gate, designed as a multifunctional play structure, serves as a climbing frame, slide, cable car, and climbing wall. It is complemented by a range of other traditional and less traditional play elements (the “anthill” sandbox, the “owl” spring swing, the “lynx” hanging swing, the “grouse” climbing frame, the “upside-down tree roots” climbing structure, and a double swing).

Trail operator: Czech Switzerland National Park Administration.
