Lord’s Rock
National Natural Monument (NPP in czech) – the so-called stone organ, is located near the village of Prácheň near Kamenický Šenov. This geological formation is made up of basalt columns (in the shape of a pentagon or hexagon), mostly vertically oriented. In the 19th and 20th centuries, there was a quarry here for obtaining columnar basalt. After the cessation of mining activities, a small lake was created by filling the excavated depression with rainwater, which is part of the NPP. Since 1895, Panská skála has been protected as a natural geological formation and is the oldest geological reserve in the Czech Republic. It is accessible on foot and by bicycle.
