Kyjov Castle
The remains of a very large fortified site above the Křinice River near the settlement of Kyjov. Its name Horní Karlštejn or Pustý zámek and the legends about the castle’s origin date back to the Romantic period. The fortification was built during the 14th century and most likely served as a security measure for a small prospector’s settlement.
