Gromer’s Cross – Pink

The sandstone Gromers Kreuz was commissioned in 1888 by Eleonora Clar of Růžová No. 193. During the reconstruction of the cross, the inscription was restored: “At the cross the Lord redeemed us from sin. At the cross Jesus teaches us patience. Built by Eleonora Clar from Rosendorf.” The cast iron cross was treated, the body of Christ was gilded. The fencing was completely renovated.

The reconstruction of the Gromer Cross was carried out in 2010 by the non-profit organization České Švýcarsko as part of the Listen to the Voice of Villages project, funded through the Central Europe Transnational Cooperation Program and co-financed by the ERDF.
