Cave of the Fairies

The Cave of the Fairies is a sandstone rock overhang and underground spaces, where unique ice decorations are created every winter. Ice icicles of various sizes grow from the ceiling and bottom of the cave, so-called ice curtains and many other formations also appear. The Cave of the Fairies is located on a slope on the right bank of the Křinice River in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the Kyjov Valley, approximately 2 km from Kyjov. The Cave of the Fairies is freely accessible to visitors all year round and offers an attractive spectacle in winter.
