Weifberg Lookout Tower

The observation tower on the Weifberg hill (477.8 m above sea level) is a popular destination for visitors to the rear of Saxon Switzerland. It is made of wood with vertical steel columns. It was built in just 5 months and inaugurated on November 2, 2000. The tower is 36.9 meters high and has a diameter of 6.4 meters. The roof of the tower is octagonal. From it, tourists can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland, the Lusatian Mountains and part of the Bohemian Central Mountains.
