Schrammsteine

A heavily weathered and rugged massif, extending on the right bank of the Elbe from Schmilka almost to Bad Schandau. The character of the relief is captured in the name (schrammen, i.e. to tear, to divide). There are trails with steep ladders and unique viewpoints (Schrammsteinaussicht 417 m, Carolafelsen 453 m). One of the popular tourist destinations of Saxon Switzerland.
