Cross Hill near Rynartice

Křížový vrch offers some of the most beautiful views in the entire region of Bohemian Switzerland. The hilly panorama of the Lusatian Mountains, the mighty Studenec and the unmistakable Růžovský vrch is magnificent. Above the Rynart cottages directly below us we see the undulating landscape around Vysoká Lípa and behind it the typical table mountains of Saxon Switzerland. As if in the palm of our hand we have the Jetřichovické stěny – Falkenštejn, Marie’s Rock and Vilemín’s Wall in front of us.

At the top of the hill stands a cross with a painted metal silhouette of Christ, which has been restored several times. The Hill of Crosses is easily accessible from the Zámeček Hotel, from where a panel road leads to the reservoir, which is a short distance below the peak.
