Beer Falkenštejn

The Falkenštejn brewery was opened in 2013 on the square in Krásná Lípa , which is the center of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and also a city with a unique location on the border of the touristically attractive regions of Bohemian Switzerland, the Lusatian Mountains and the Šluknov region.

In 2017, the brewery was expanded, modernized, and its capacity was increased to 3,000 hl of brewed beer per year. The brewery also includes a beer bar with a restaurant, a brewery guesthouse, and a small hall for social and corporate events.

Our goal is to brew good and honest beer. We use modern technology in its production, but at the same time we adhere to traditional craft production methods. Moreover, after maturation, our beer goes to customers fresh and is not modified by filtration or pasteurization.

The basic line of our beers consists of a light lager 11°, a semi-dark lager 12°, a dark special 14° and a top-fermented APA beer 13°. We regularly add specials to the basic line of our beers, which you can view in the beer gallery on the brewery’s website.

Interesting fact: The name of the beer is associated with the symbols of the unique rocky sandstone landscape – the rock castle Falkenštejn near Jetřichovice and the massive sandstone massif Falkenstein near Bad Schandau.
