Zirkelstein
The smallest but most distinctive table mountain in Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland (385 m). It offers a circular viewpoint, the access road was built in 1842. Zirkelstein or Round Stone got its name from its characteristic shape. This name first appears in 1592 as Circkelstein.
Zirkelstein is ideal for photography enthusiasts. There are beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The mountain’s easy accessibility is a big advantage. At sunrise, you can take pictures of the view of Bohemian Switzerland along with Růžovský Hill. At sunset, you can take pictures of other table mountains such as Lilienstein or the view of Bad Schandau.
