Sun Gate

The Sun Gate is an interesting massive rock window that can be found in a small rock town near the village of Bynovec in the Děčín region. The remarkable sandstone formations created by erosion activity under Kamenský vrch (432 m) are accessible along the green tourist trail from Bynovec. A smaller circuit passes through the rock town.

Motorized tourists can leave their car in the parking lot in Bynovec and walk a circuit of about 10 km from Bynovec, first following the green trail through Slunečná Brána to Děčín and return along the red trail, first via the Imperial Lookout on Stoličná Mountain and then via the Pink Lookout at the crossroads of tourist signs, from where they will return along the green trail back to Bynovec.
