Church of St. Lawrence – Rumburk

It was built by Prince Antonín Florian of Liechtenstein in the years 1683–1690. The monastery building was completed in 1684, the church in 1686. The ceremonial consecration of the church took place on 9. 4. 1690 by the Bishop of Litoměřice, Jaroslav, Count of Šternberk. The painting on the main altar depicts the deacon Lawrence, who was martyred in Rome in 258. It is by the Spanish painter Juan Fernandez Navarette (1526–1579).
