Kyjov Valley
The valley of the Křinice River was once of economic importance because of timber rafting to Saxony. It has been a popular tourist destination since the 19th century, which is also apparent from the romantic modifications and names of the nearby natural formations and elements − Brethren Rocks, Lion Cave (Bear Wash), Treasury, Fairy Cave, Wine Cellar. The valley also features memorial plates dedicated to important individuals of the region: Dr. J. Hille, Chairman of the Mountaineering Association for Northernmost Bohemia of Krásná Lípa, and brothers Edward and Francis Bienert, natural scientists and historians from Šluknov.
