It is here that you will find probably the most photographed Stations of the Cross in the \u0160luknov region. The origins of the pilgrimage site on K\u0159\u00ed\u017eov\u00e1 hora are connected with legends about a miraculous cross. Prayer at the cross restored Anton Donth&#8217;s health in the mid-17th century. The first cross on K\u0159\u00ed\u017eov\u00e1 hora was allegedly erected in 1699 by the<strong> Ji\u0159et\u00edn parish priest<\/strong> Michael G\u00fcrtler. The development of the pilgrimage site was mainly due to parish priest Gottfried Liessner, who had eleven brick stations of the cross built here in 1759, a wooden chapel with the 12th and 13th stations, and the Rococo chapel of the Holy Sepulchre. The Stations of the Cross begin at the foot of the slope with a monumental staircase with stone columns.
