In clear weather, the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains can be seen. From the north and south sides, the profile is more rounded and on the southwest side it is also disturbed by a rock wall. This wall is over 300 m long and in places up to 60 m high. In winter, massive ice curtains, icicles and ice falls form on it. There is an extensive scree field on the steep slope below the wall and smaller scree is also on the northern slope of the mountain. The mountain was first mentioned on maps in 1720 under the name Kleis, and it was not mentioned as Klíč until a guidebook from 1928. The name of the mountain is derived from the Old Slavic term “klíč”, which used to refer to springing water. Under the saddle on the western side of the hill are really abundant springs, which are now captured to supply the Novobork water supply system. The overflow of one of the reservoirs is located in the forest under the sea of stones and is called the Kamzičí studánka (Chamomile Well).

[381,379,380,382
361,362,364,363
329
408
post-91817","zazitky","type-zazitky","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","kdy_navstivit-autumn","kdy_navstivit-spring","kdy_navstivit-summer","kdy_navstivit-winter","pro_koho-couples","pro_koho-families","pro_koho-groups","pro_koho-with-a-dog","zazitek-stitek-nature","zeme-czech-republic
["GET
