First documented in 1515 as a mill with three wheels (one powered a saw, two grinding equipment). Rebuilt with a bakery building in 1727. When there was a shortage of water, it also served as a malt mill for the Bynovec castle brewery. In 1814, a distillery building was added. At the end of the 19th century, the Ferdinand Gorge ferry route ended here, and a taproom was built at that time. For several years, the financial guard was based here. Abandoned after 1945, today only a romantic ruin. Dolsk\u00fd ml\u00fdn is located in the valley of the Kamenice River, near the marked path to Vysok\u00e1 L\u00edpa, Kamenick\u00e1 Str\u00e1n\u011b and Jet\u0159ichovice. <\/p>\n
Ferdinand’s Gorge is located between Srbsk\u00e1 Kamenice and Dolsk\u00fd Ml\u00fdn. After 1881, boating was started here – tourists used it to get from Srbsk\u00e1 Kamenice to Dolsk\u00fd Ml\u00fdn, a popular excursion spot. Today it is impassable, the blue tourist sign leads higher above the left bank of the Kamenice. The place is accessible from Kr\u00e1lovsk\u00fd Smruk by a path along the meadow – at the end of the meadow it is necessary to ford to the other bank until we reach the place where the dam used to stand.
