Kyjov, a small village with half-timbered houses, can be found near Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa (approx. 4 km). From the parking lot, you will head to the Kyjov Valley along the red trail, past the Dix mill further along the K\u0159inice river to the turnoff to steep wooden steps. You can climb them through a rock crevice to the Kinsk\u00e9ho viewpoint. Between the treetops you can see the opposite peaks of the rocks above the valley. From here, you will set off along the Kyjov Rock Trail along the sloping green trail. This ingeniously built route leads through rocky terrain with many steps and ladders, but also views of various rock formations. You will reach a crossroads called “Under the flag” and return back along the asphalt road to Kyjov to the parking lot. The entire circuit is approx. 2.5 km and will take you 1.5 hours. <\/p>\n
The valley of the K\u0159inice River, in the past economically important for floating timber to Saxony. A popular tourist destination since the 19th century, as evidenced by the romantic arrangements and names of the nearest natural formations – Bratrsk\u00e9 kameny, Lv\u00ed jeskyn\u011b (Lion’s Cave), Klenotnice, Jeskyn\u011b v\u00edl, Vinn\u00fd sklep. <\/p>\n
In the valley, there are commemorative plaques of important personalities of the region embedded in the rock: MUDr. Johann Hille, chairman of the Mountain Association for the Northernmost Bohemia (Gebirgsverein f\u00fcr das n\u00f6rdlichste B\u00f6hmen) from Kr\u00e1snolip, and brothers Eduard and Franti\u0161ek Bienert\u016f, ethnographic researchers from \u0160luknov. <\/p>\n
The Kyjov Valley is also part of the K\u00f6gler Nature Trail, which is the oldest nature trail in Bohemia. Rudolf K\u00f6gler, a native of Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 Lipa, established it in 1941. <\/p>\n
