The church is now a dominant feature of the town. The interior of the church dates from the 18th\u201319th centuries and includes the main altar from 1808 by Dominik Kindermann, a Rococo pulpit from 1765 and a baptismal font with a marble statue of a sleeping boy from 1820 by Ferdinand Pettrich. The access from the square is via a staircase from 1818, decorated with statues.
