Schindler Hosiery \u2013 Nylon socks, knee-highs, tights, and stockings have been manufactured in Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa since 1854.<\/p>\n
There is no other knitting mill in the Czech Republic with a history spanning more than 165 years that continues to produce hosiery. The tradition of this craft, here in Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa, has never been interrupted. Knowledge and expertise have been passed down from generation to generation for decades. <\/p>\n
In keeping with our motto, \u201cTradition is about passing on traditions, not worshipping the past,\u201d we are pleased to introduce a traditional regional product\u2014Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa stockings\u2014under the Schindler 1854 Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa brand, which pays tribute to the company\u2019s founder with new, attractive packaging.<\/p>\n
In 1854, Stefan Schindler began manufacturing hosiery in Kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 L\u00edpa under modest conditions and gradually grew to become one of the largest manufacturers of such goods. Subsequent generations have continued his work: <\/p>\n
