From the Dresden Elbe Valley through the hills of Upper Lusatia to the upper Neisse Valley and on to Liberec in the Czech Republic: Trilex <\/em>connects three unique regions and provides fast and comfortable connections between urban and rural areas\u2014true to its motto, \u201cThe region right on your doorstep.\u201d<\/p>\n

Die L\u00e4nderbahn GmbH (DLB) is a railway operator based in Neumark, Saxony, that operates Trilex trains. Since December 2010, trains have been running under this name on what is now the L7 line between Seifhennersdorf \u2013 Rybni\u0161t\u011b \u2013 Zittau \u2013 Liberec. <\/p>\n

In December 2021, operations on the L4 line (Rumburk \u2013 \u010cesk\u00e1 L\u00edpa \u2013 Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav) were taken over. A year later, service began on the second line, L2, which runs regularly between Liberec, \u010cesk\u00e1 L\u00edpa, and D\u011b\u010d\u00edn Main Station. Both routes have been contracted by the Liberec Region in cooperation with the neighboring regions of \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem and Central Bohemia, through the end of 2031. Siemens Desiro Classic (series 642) trains will be deployed on all lines, thereby expanding the L\u00e4nderbahn\u2019s existing fleet by a total of 8 locomotives. <\/p>\n
