A remote hamlet and popular tourist destination nestled amid forests along the road from H\u0159ensko to Vysok\u00e1 L\u00edpa; a local district of H\u0159ensko.<\/p>\n
The original settlement consisted solely of manorial buildings, the oldest of which was a gamekeeper\u2019s lodge built in 1794. Today\u2019s Mezn\u00ed Louka Hotel was commissioned by Prince Edmund Clary-Aldringen in 1892. It served as a guesthouse and a climatic spa. At the beginning of the 20th century, the possibility of utilizing the local springs was considered. <\/p>\n
The village is the starting point for the most popular hiking trails\u2014to Prav\u010dick\u00e1 br\u00e1na and the Kamenice Gorges.
The Rys\u00ed stezka Forest Adventure Park in Mezn\u00ed Louka<\/p>\n
Forest<\/span><\/span><\/em>Adventure Park<\/span><\/span><\/em>The Rys\u00ed<\/span><\/span><\/em>stezka has been open to visitors since May 2015 in Mezn\u00ed Louka, along the marked hiking trail toward Prav\u010dick\u00e1 br\u00e1na. Through 20 interactive stations, the trail introduces park visitors to issues related to the care of the local forests, their species diversity, and their historical development.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/em>Along the approximately 1.5-kilometer-long loop, visitors will find, among other things, a forest gazebo made from four types of wood typical of the national park, a wooden walkway over a water pool, a rope bridge in a beech sapling stand, a tactile trail, a model of a tree hollow, a model of a log skid, a bark beetle-themed climbing frame, a wooden walkway with animal tracks, bird silhouettes, and a tree <\/span><\/span>dendrophone.<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The biggest attraction at the nearby playground is a walk-through wooden model ofPrav\u010dick\u00e1 Gate\u2014the symbol of Bohemian Switzerland\u2014which children can also use as a slide or climbing frame. The 4-meter-high wooden model of Prav\u010dick\u00e1 Gate, designed as a multifunctional <\/span><\/span>play<\/span><\/span>structure, serves as a climbing frame, slide, cable car, and climbing wall.
