What is the Destination Fund of Bohemian Switzerland?<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><p>The Destination Fund (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cDF\u201d) is a communication and development platform that brings together tourism stakeholders, including businesses, non-profit organizations, and local authorities. The DF serves as a shared financial resource for the development of sustainable tourism, supported by contributions from participating members within the Bohemian Switzerland region. Management of the Destination Fund<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><p>The Destination Fund is managed by the public benefit corporation \u010cesk\u00e9 \u0160v\u00fdcarsko (hereinafter the \u201cDF Administrator\u201d). The DF does not have legal personality. Contributions of DF members are used mainly for:<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><ul>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Joint marketing efforts to promote the Bohemian Switzerland region, utilizing various forms of promotion: online marketing (social media, the Bohemian Switzerland website), marketing campaigns, the publication of tourist brochures, the organization of events, the promotion of the region at travel trade shows, and other costs associated with destination promotion and the coordination of the Destination Foundation.<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Destination management in the region.<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Coordination of tourist transportation, including negotiations on schedules, fares, and changes to connections with neighboring regions, including cross-border connections (tourist buses, trains, and ferries).  <\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Coordinating and initiating new hiking and long-distance trails and bike paths in cooperation with the Czech Tourist Club, representatives of municipalities, regional governments, and members of the DF.<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Cross-border cooperation with German partners from the regions of Saxon Switzerland, Upper Lusatia, Dresden, the Ore Mountains, the Zittau Mountains, and Upper Lusatia.<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">The development and implementation of destination, tourism, and marketing products (H\u0159ebenovka, regional products, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><style>.porto-u-ad87e2eaf3f9c495180fe0156ddf3eb0.porto-u-heading{text-align:left}<\/style><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<details id=\"e-n-accordion-item-1144\" class=\"e-n-accordion-item\" >\n\t\t\t\t<summary class=\"e-n-accordion-item-title\" data-accordion-index=\"5\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"e-n-accordion-item-1144\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class='e-n-accordion-item-title-header'><div class=\"e-n-accordion-item-title-text\"> 5. Who can become a member of the DF?<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><p>Any legal entity or individual may become a member of the DF, not only from the Bohemian Switzerland region\u2014which includes the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains Protected Landscape Area, part of the Lusatian Mountains Protected Landscape Area and the \u0160luknov Hook, parts of the D\u011b\u010d\u00edn District, and adjacent areas, but also from elsewhere, provided they agree with the principles and objectives of the DF Declaration and express their consent by paying an annual membership fee. Establishment and termination of DF membership<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><p>An entity becomes a member of the DF by signing the Accession Agreement or by paying the membership fee, which also constitutes an expression of consent to the terms of the Declaration. The Destination Fund Administrator reserves the right to decide against accepting a new member due to an obvious conflict with the DF\u2019s values. The membership fee is due by January 31 of the calendar year in which membership is renewed. Payment of the fee automatically renews membership. An entity ceases to be a member of the DF if it fails to pay the annual membership fee or upon a proposal by the Advisory Board, if the member\u2019s activities are in conflict with the values set forth in the Declaration. Advisory Board of the Destination Fund of Bohemian Switzerland<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"porto-u-sub-heading\" style=\"\"><p>The Advisory Board (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cAB\u201d) is a supporting body of the Destination Fund with no legal status. The AC participates in decision-making regarding the direction and activities of the Destination Fund. The goal of the AC is to facilitate joint discussion among representatives on current tourism issues in the Bohemian Switzerland region, to reach a consensus, and to coordinate the region\u2019s marketing, project, and development initiatives.  <\/p>\n<h3>Representation on the Advisory Board:<\/h3>\n<p>The Fund Manager decides on the nomination of PS members according to the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">The administrator of the \u010cesk\u00e9 \u0160v\u00fdcarsko o.p.s. fund,<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">a representative from the \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem Regional Authority,<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">8 members representing cities and municipalities,<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">8 members representing companies, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations,<\/li>\n\t<li class=\"li_alpha\">Guest PS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The PS makes decisions by majority vote. A resolution is valid if it is approved by more than half of the members and does not conflict with the principles of the DF. <\/p>\n<p>At the invitation of the Fund Administrator, a representative from the \u00dast\u00ed Region Regional Authority, or a member of the Steering Committee, other entities from the fields of public administration, nonprofit organizations, nature conservation, and tourism may also participate in the meetings. Members from all three membership levels of the Destination Fund\u2014Mini, Standard, Premium, and Premium Plus\u2014may become members of the Steering Committee representing companies and entrepreneurs. <\/p>\n<h3>Commencement and termination of membership in the Advisory Board:<\/h3>\n<p>Any member of the DF or their representative may voluntarily become a member of the PS if they wish to actively participate in the PS\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n<p>The current list of Advisory Board members is available on the website www.ceskesvycarsko.cz under the \"Destination Fund\" section.<\/p>\n<p>Membership terminates upon a member\u2019s voluntary decision to cease their activities in the PS.
