The Bohemian Switzerland National Park was honoured by EDEN (European Destinations of Excellence) award in 2009. Only protected areas supporting concept of sustainable developement and environmentally friendly tourism are able to win the prize. The Bohemian Switzerland is thus the first czech destination having the same 'label of quality' like Sheep's Head in Ireland, Lesbos island in Greece or Schengen in Luxembourg.
