Krásná Lípa − St. Mary Magdalene Church
The Baroque, single-nave St. Mary Magdalene Church from 1754–1758 was built in the place of the original simple chapel. It is now the landmark of the town. The church interior comes from the 18th 19th century and consists of the main altar created in1808 by D. J. Kindermanna, the Rococo pulpit from 1765, and the 1820 baptistery with a marble statue of a sleeping boy made by F. Pettrich. The church can be accessed from the square via a stairway which was built in 1818 and is decorated by statues. Situated nearby is Kostelní vrch (Church Hill), where there used to be a chapel and Calvary.
