Česká Kamenice – castle
The Kamenice Castle is situated on Castle Hill above the town.
At the elevation of 544 m there is a ruin of a mediaeval castle, of which only a part of the perimeter wall and of the palace have survived. In the late 1990s the ruin was converted into a lookout tower providing a spectacular view of the landscape of the Lusatian Mountains and Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland. The ruin is open for the public all year round.
